Strawbery Banke Garden Cleanup Day … and More!
Grab your gardening gloves and celebrate Earth Day by getting your hands dirty at the Strawbery Banke Garden Cleanup Day! Details are still being worked out, but expect to join many other cheerful volunteers in the morning for cleanup chores in the gardens of Strawbery Banke Museum. Bring a potluck dish to share with others at a “Slow Food” lunch. Then in the afternoon, attend short gardening workshops that will feature seeds from the Renewing America’s Food Traditions (RAFT) program. Volunteers will have the opportunity to take home RAFT seeds or plants for their own gardens.
