Projects
In addition to potlucks and events, Slow Food Seacoast works on long-term projects in support of a healthier, more sustainable food system. Some of the projects we have been involved with include
- Seacoast Harvest: A Local Food Guide “to the farms, farmers’ markets, CSAs, and farm stands of Rockingham, Strafford, and York Counties”
- Local Food Advocates: Volunteers helping spread the word about slow, local food
- Giving Gardens Network: Cooperative campaign to encourage home gardeners to “grow a row” to donate to a food pantry or shelter
